Fall 2008 Workshops

Getting to Know Your Hip Joints
Sunday September 28, 1-4:30 pm; $65

With flexible hip joints we can stand, walk, run and jump with greater ease. In this workshop, you will explore how improving the relationship between your hip joints and the rest of yourself can lead to a fuller sense of how you are in action and in the world.

Free Your Jaw, Neck and Shoulders
Sunday October 26, 1-4:30 pm; $65

The jaw, neck and shoulders carry much of our tension and stress. In this workshop you will become aware of the triggers that put strain on the jaw, neck and shoulders. Come and learn effective strategies to eliminate the cause of these tensions.

You and Your Rib Cage
Sunday November 23, 1-4:30 pm; $65

How much consideration have you ever given to the state of your ribcage? Probably not much….but did you know a flexible ribcage supports spinal mobility, better posture and muscular organization, full breathing and even a more mobile pelvis? Come and enjoy a few hours of learning how a freer ribcage can impact your entire sense of well being.

Beat Insomnia the Relaxing Way!
Sunday November 30, 1-4:30 pm, $65

Do you lead a high powered and busy life during the day? Do you have trouble falling asleep or wake up during the night and then cannot fall back to sleep? In this workshop you will learn highly effective, simple and practical movements and breathing techniques for daytime stress relief and bedtime relaxation.

You will learn how to drift off to sleep or return to sleep after night time awakenings and awake rested and relaxed the next day.

Mats and refreshments are provided. Dress in loose comfortable clothing and layer for warmth.
