Vita Kolodny was educated as a nurse and was introduced to the Feldenkrais® Method
in the early 90s. She was attracted to the method’s focus on learning and loves to teach people how they can become more aware of their movements so that they can better use their bodies in ways that help prevent injury and contribute to healing. She is continually intrigued with the positive impact of her daily practice of the Feldenkrais Method on all areas of her life. She was certified as a Feldenkrais Practitioner in 2003, is an authorized teacher of the Sounder Sleep™ System. In addition to running the Feldenkrais Centre Vancouver, she works occasionally as a community health nurse in Vancouver.
“What I’m after isn’t flexible bodies, but flexible brains. What I’m after is to restore each person to their human dignity.” Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais
