Our Teachers

Our three teachers bring their different life experiences to their teaching. All are passionate about the benefits of the Feldenkrais Method. We know how each of us has benefited from ongoing practice and are excited to share the work with you. We honour each student for who you are; helping you to learn, through playful and easy movements, how to rediscover flexibility in mind and body. Each of us teaches group classes and is available for individual private sessions.

  • Vita Kolodny was educated as a nurse and was introduced to the Feldenkrais Method in the early 90s. She appreciates its focus on learning and loves to teach people how they can become more aware and responsible for their own movement possibilities. She is continually intrigued with the positive impact of ongoing practice of the Feldenkrais Method on all areas of her life as well as those of her students. She was certified as a Feldenkrais Practitioner in 2003, is an authorized teacher of the Sounder Sleep™ System, and combines her practice of the Feldenkrais Method with health care projects.
  • Mel Krajden was introduced to the Feldenkrais Method in 1988 when he was recovering from back surgery. He credits his recovery and continued ability to enjoy his activities without pain to the Feldenkrais Method. He combines his practice of the Feldenkrais Method with a career in medical virology at the BC Centre for Disease Control.

  • May Nasser is a former lawyer who began training in the Feldenkrais Method in 1998, graduating as a teacher in 2001. Since then, May has deepened her knowledge of the Feldenkrais Method by taking advanced classes with some of the top teachers in the field, in Vancouver, Seattle and Bend, Oregon. She is committed to life long learning and to supporting her students as they discover the possibility of change in movement and life. May is a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and combines her Feldenkrais practice with work in estate administration.

Our Studio

Our studio is a warm, inviting, home environment. Our teachers create an environment designed to enhance each student´s learning.

We work with each student to help you learn to move, with ease and grace, within your own personal comfort and ability. From this base you will expand your movement possibilities and enhance your creativity.

Plan to come to the studio wearing loose comfortable clothing. Mats are provided.

Our Classes

When you join us for a class, it is your opportunity to take care of yourself and to let go of the hustle and bustle of the day. With the Feldenkrais Method, less is more.

You will be guided to move within your comfort zone and to focus on the sensations that are created while doing mindful movements. You will discover how all movements become easier and more pleasurable when you involve your whole body. <more>
